J & L Engagement Session [Part I] -- MP & PD Photography

Well, it happened. The right clients came along and persuaded this self-proclaimed city girl to go a lil' country!! So, I dug out my trusty knee high rubber boots (last time I did a session in a field I met a snake) and we headed off to explore some gorgeous golden fields, climb through woods, jump hay bales, and yes even scare up a 5 point buck that took off charging the nearby field. I'm not sure I care to admit how many times I ducked, jumped, or dodged what I thought was a 'furry friend' scurrying along in our path (vivid imagination this girl). LOL.

J & L have an amazing love story. While they first met and began dating in college, careers and schooling (currently working on becoming Dr. L!) had kept them living in separate cities for the past several years. Coincidentally (or not, I don't believe in coincidences at all. I know it was entirely a God thing), shortly after getting engaged J received a job offer here in KC, allowing them to finally be reunited. Nothing is more exciting than seeing everything fall perfectly into place for two people who are clearly meant to be together. L, you're gorgeous and both of you are total naturals in front of the camera.

You'll be {featured} soon!

{p.s. thanks for treating me to the experience of soybeans plucked straight from the pod...now that's living on the wild side!;}
